When It’s Time

Standard

I will do what makes sense
When it’s time, when it’s time.
I shan’t do a thing without
Reason or rhyme.

I shall wash away uncertainty,
Wash away grime,
And do what makes sense
When it’s time, when it’s time.

Not knowing is OK;
It’s never a crime.
I shall do what makes sense
When it’s time, when it’s time.

Soon enough I will hear the bells.
They will chime; the bells of knowing at last.
I shall do what makes sense
When it’s time, when it’s time.

I shall do what makes sense
When it’s time.
